Loved working with Deb! She was extremely helpful, found us an amazing deal (better than anything we would have gotten through our banks), AND, most importantly, she has great customer service! We’ll be doing any future mortgages with her :)

Always looking out for clients’ best interests

Deb is absolutely fantastic to work with. She is on top of things and is always looking out for her customer’s best interests. She truly is passionate about what she does.

Warm, reliable, and knowledgeable

I have gotten to know Deb over the past three months, and she is one of the most warm, reliable, forthright, and knowledgeable individuals I know. I look forward to working more closely with her over the upcoming years.

Passionate about helping people get their homes

Deb is incredibly passionate about getting people into their homes. Even when it involves going through a mess of finances to restructure them ensuring that they are in the position to get their home. If they are unable to qualify she will assist in the structure of their credit and help provide an attainable timeline for the purchase to take place. Thanks Deb, my clients are very grateful!

Easy and professional to work with

Deb is an amazing mortgage broker. She is very easy and professional to work with. The great part is Deb’s location on 1 ave. Its close to my work and my home. I would recommend Deb Murdoch to any one of my friends or family that would buying a new home or just refinancing.

Informative and found the best rates

I was referred to Deb by a friend when I was looking into purchasing a house. I knew very little about mortgages and the processes involved. I still don’t know a whole lot, but Deb was very informative and helpful. She answered any and all questions I had regarding the pros/cons of Variable vs. Fixed and numerous other questions. She found me the best rates and made the whole process simple. She also helped me switch lenders when it came time to renew my mortgage. I have zero complaints and I would recommend her to anyone looking into getting/renewing a mortgage.

Patient and prompt communication

Deb was so great to deal with and was very patient and helpful at explaining things, as we were first-time homebuyers. Both her and her assistant were always very prompt in their communication, which also made the process that much easier for us! We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Reduced stress and explained options clearly

An employee of mine was having some challenges with a home refinance and her bank were making the process very difficult. I referred her to Deb and they very quickly set up an appointment to meet.As soon as the first meeting was completed, my colleague’s frustrations and stress levels were gone. Deb was able to walk her through the entire process and find the right solution. What impressed her the most was how Deb was able to explain clearly the benefits of different scenarios to allow her to make an informed decision. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer Deb time and time again.

Found a fabulous rate for self-employed

I went to see Deb about refinancing on my home. Because I am self-employed I’ve had difficulty in the past qualifying with traditional lenders. Deb had no problems finding a reliable, reputable and trustworthy lender for me. Not to mention a fabulous rate! Deb made the whole process painless and actually quite enjoyable! Not only is she organized and efficient, she is also very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions you may have. She also has quality partnerships within the community. The lawyer she recommended was stellar as well. Thanks again Deb for the wonderful experience and incredible service.

Simple and straightforward process

Deb made what could have been a daunting and complicated process, simple and straightforward. We’ve used her services to purchase 2 homes and to renew a mortgage and are always impressed. She keeps the paper work simple and explains everything you are signing in terms you can understand even if you have no background in mortgages. We wouldn’t use anyone else!

Better rate than expected

Deb was great to work with and was an essential part of purchasing our new home. We were under a time crunch to get the mortgage and she made it all happen very quickly. To top it all off we received a better rate than expected! Thanks so much Deb for helping us get into our new home!!

Acts in the best interests of clients

As a financial planner, I frequently come across clients that need a 2nd opinion on their mortgage, or they are not happy with their current lender, or they need the RIGHT advice on the type of mortgage they should have. I refer all these clients to Deb and the feedback I get from clients is they should have started with Deb in the first place. Deb takes the time to explain the mortgage process, and she assists the client in choosing the BEST mortgage for the client, not the best mortgage for the lender. She acts in the best interests of the client every time. I highly recommend you to talk to Deb if you are looking at purchasing a home, or if you need to refinance your mortgage rate. She will take the time to understand your situation and your needs.

Most knowledgeable about mortgages

Deb is the most knowledgeable person I have talked to about mortgages weather it is a first time home buyer or someone looking to refinance she finds the best product to fill each individual needs

Patient and thorough with first-time buyers

Thanks for all you have done to help get us into our new house. We were first-time home buyers and had no idea where to begin with the whole process. We had many questions and Deb answered every one of them with patience. She was easy to get a hold of and all I had to do was send her the documents and she took care of the rest. We will definitely be going back to her in the future.

Works for your best interests

I found Deb by chance. We worked together by text, email and the occasional phone call, mostly because our life is so busy. She worked to get us out of one mortgage and into a way better option. You won’t be disappointed by choosing Deb, she is working for your best interests..

Found the best rate and options

Fantastic Experience!!! We had the opportunity to work with Deb on a mortgage for a new home. She was so knowledgeable and always had the answers to our questions. I always felt like she was looking for the best options available to us and found us the best rate and mortgage we could get. Thank you Deb!

Cleared up confusion quickly

Have had the run around with our mortgage broker for a long time now I called Deb (not our mortgage broker) just to get a second opinion and she cleared up more in 10 mons on the phone than our broker has in months and was more than willing to help we even asked if she wanted to bill us for the call she just laughed I really wish we would have went through her in the first place

Highly recommend for mortgage needs

Deb was fantastic meeting our mortgage needs. We highly recommend her services. Positive Responsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Knowledgeable and easy to work with

Working with Deb was a joy. She is very helpful, knowledgeable. And made the process of applying for a mortgage very easy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with a mortgage application.

Patient and responsive during the process

We recently moved in to our new house in Saskatoon. Deb and Shari had been extremely helpful during the whole deal closing process. We had a lot of questions since it was our first house ever but Deb and Shari had been really patient and responsive to all our questions and even helped make the right choice. We can’t thank you enough for making whole process so seamless.

Helped more in 24 hours than others in months

After months of working with a different Mortgage specialist and things not working out, we were frustrated and hopeless. I contacted Deb who was recommended from a friend and I told her what was happening and our situation, she was able to help us in a matter of 24hours as we were on a tight time frame and needed conditions removed asap. Deb helped us more in 24 hours then the other mortgage specialist did in 6 months. I could not recommend her enough!! She was a life savour. Thank you sooo much Deb, your a big part of the reason we are in our home today!!

Handled tricky situations seamlessly

Deb was fantastic to work with! She made it very easy by doing everything through email and over the phone so we didn’t have to miss work or rearrange our schedule. We had a bit of a tricky situation as we were in a time crunch and navigating owning 2 properties (one as a rental) but she made it all work out for us and we couldn’t be happier

Made refinancing easy

Deb made our recent re-finance so easy and was always very reassuring and ready to answer any and all of our questions! Thank you so much Deb!!

Went above and beyond for first-time buyers

I cannot say enough good things about Deb Murdoch. She went above and beyond for us first time home buyers. For a couple who had no idea what we were doing when it came down to documents, understanding forms, she provided exceptional service. I was able to bug her at any time and she was always ready and welcome to answer any of my questions. We are so happy that we were able to work with Deb from the first phone call discussing our situation, to the day we could sign our Morgage papers. She was always around to explain everything and was so patient with us when we didn’t know what we were doing. :) Thank you for making this dream come true! She truly helped us preform a Christmas Miracle that we didn’t think we could do ourselves. Thank you, Deb, from the bottom of our hearts.
